Multi-level access to accounts and servers

From managing multiple accounts to giving one customer access to specific servers. DCMetrik separates permissions by role and machine assignment.

AAA

Advanced Account Admin

Oversees multiple separate accounts. Each account has its own Account Admin, users and servers. Individual accounts remain isolated.

AA

Account Admin

Has visibility across their entire account. Assigns servers to users, manages permissions and decides who can see each machine and its data. Also sets individual costs and commission terms.

User

User

A user with the lowest permission level sees only servers assigned by their Account Admin and the data their permissions allow. They cannot access other servers in the account.

Terms for individual customers

One account can include customers with different agreements. The Account Admin manages their access and financial terms in one place.

Individual costs and commissions

Each user can have different commission terms and costs. Settlement can therefore reflect the individual customer agreement, including management fees, revenue sharing and allocated operating expenses.

Server reassignment with history preserved

The Account Admin can reassign an existing server from one user to another. The server does not need to be recreated, and its revenue and cost history is preserved. User access to data continues to follow assignments and permissions.

Heartbeat: ongoing checks and alerts

A heartbeat is a regular report from a connected server. It helps confirm that the server is reporting and track available information about its operating state.

Regular status updates

Alongside the last contact, reports can include GPU and driver health and available error information. The information provided depends on the connected server and its configuration.

Alerts when problems occur

If a server stops reporting or a problem is detected, the user receives an alert according to the configured rules and their permissions. This helps them respond without manually checking each server.

Operational and financial context

Problems can be assessed alongside the machine’s history, utilisation, revenue and costs. Administrators gain context for restoring operations and assessing the financial impact of downtime.

Our own system for the whole project

We developed DCMetrik to provide a shared view of operations and economics. Technical data and financial records belong together.

Monitoring and management

Server health, operational history, utilisation and alerts. Information for day-to-day management and incident analysis.

Detailed project accounting

Itemised operating costs and actual revenue. Energy, cooling, connectivity, maintenance and management in the context of each project.

Forecasts and returns

Estimates of future revenue, return on assets (ROA) and return on investment (ROI). Support for decisions on hardware renewal, expansion and ongoing operations.

The economics of the whole project

We combine hardware expertise with many years of experience in capital markets and process management. We assess both the technical and financial performance of a project.

Acquisition and lifecycle

Hardware price, financing, expansion, replacement and residual value.

Individual operating costs

Power, cooling, space, connectivity, maintenance and management, including incident handling and downtime costs.

Revenue and overall results

Server utilisation, actual and expected revenue, value of internal workloads and returns on invested resources.
